German Pavilion, Barcelona (“Barcelona Pavilion”) (Ludwig Mies van der Rohe)
- The building is treated as a continuous space, and planned on a grid as with most of van der Rohe's works.
- The building is raised off the ground. The box is destroyed, the walls defined as individual lines.
- van der Rohe also plays with the building as an abstracted object (see his proposal for Jackson hole)
